Sorted a donor car for the vtec transplant, a honda civic with the B18c4 engine, 170bhp as standard, i got the whole car to cut down on having to out source parts, ill have everything i need! ;)

Going to be one mean metro mate!! Get that metro challenge front spoiler on it! They look cool 8)

Keepin it lookin fairly stock mate, other than banded steels, a throaty exhaust and lowered a little, its gonna be 100% granny mobile ;) even sourced brand new 1.0 miniMETRO badges for the bootlid! Haha!

Quality! I love them banded steels! Need a pic of the whole car with them on though!

Not going to do any mods to the engine? I slide you don't have to do the inlet manifold mod that mini guys do because of the bigger engine bay:P

Once i can get it out the garage ill get a pic of it to show full effect of the banded steels ;)

Nah no plans of yet to mod the engine, from 34bhp to 170bhp will do for now! Haha

N no bulkhead or manifold mods, a mates vtec mk1 metro engine bay for example...

Going to check out the civic this weekend, would of gone the weekend just gone, but snow put a hold to that! And i should have it back at my unit the 1st weekend of feb ready to be stripped of its goodies and the rest sold off to recoup the cost of buying the civic in the 1st place ;)

Sourced a cheaper vti donor car, £200 instead of £600, same engine, being B18c4, bonus!

Yeah you can do mate! be good to get some shots of where the engine mounts are attatched, on the pics he sent me, it looks like there welded to the bodywork? Lol
