That is the metro i dragged out the garage after 18years hibernation, but i swapped it for an engineless one as saved me messin with a completely original one n pullin engine out, made sense

Its not mine no more, i swapped it for the 15k mile from new engineless white metro in the last few pics ;)

Been doing a bit more on my current project metro lately, changed the steering column as the ignition barrel was smashed, refitted the inteior bits that were removed but included, engine turns over well, and had the steels banded from 4.5"x12" to 7"x12", should look pretty sweet ;)

Nah who needs a arch roller when i got hammers and dollys ;) arch rollers are for wimps

Tyres go on tomorrow! Brakes to fit, steering rack gaitor, boot lock and its mot ready!

Once its lowered a little, the camber apears itself ;)

Its alive! Chucked some petrol in the float bowl, bit down the carb neck, after a few turns of the key, a few splutters, a few pops, and it roared into life... one less thing to sort out!

Got a letter from dvla this morning, Log book due to be printed and sent out in the next few weeks

Few more jobs completed, few changed bulbs, new petrol cap, anti-freeze etc then its mot time and respray :)
