Well Gents, the mini is a write off. We are buying it back and if anyone wants a project then pm me. We are going to transfer some bits over to the next mini Zoe buy's but the left over car will be up for grabs. New rear subframe 4 months ago, front subframe has been pollybushed etc. shame but it would cost to much for us to fix. It will be listed as a Cat C so can be returned to the road. Pm me if your interested.

That's really bad luck, are the insurance paying out what you wanted/what it's worth for it. Got mine due for renewal at the end of the month and never know how much to insure it for.

Hi Car is being broken, no getting another mini now she fancys something else. Hole car has to go so message me what you need or cal me 07818453568. EFI kit is on ebay but could do you a deal if you give me a call. I'm gutted because this was one sorted mini but it's worth more in bits. Just had brand new rear subframe, all new shocks, polybushes, new brakes/calipers discs master cylinder. You name this car had it done. I spent ages doing this and now I have to take it all apart. Gutted, but its not my car its the wifes and the best cash option is to break it. If anyone wants anything all will be going very cheap.

Would like to get a buyer for the engine and gearbox. Only done 2000-3000miles on fresh rebuild from MiniSpeed (£2500). Gearbox rebuilt by MiniSport £500. Open to offers on them and have all receipts to show work done. Some one will get a bargain. I've also got a minisport rebuilt standard unleaded head that really needs to go to a good home. All bits will get scrapped if they don't sell.

It's been quite an emotional day breaking the mini. Listed the engine today, spent £2,000 on the engine and £500 on gearbox with £600 on the head. Wont get anywhere near that but some one will get a Bargain. I have all the receipts but it's just gutting. One bonus is I've decided to fit the Mini late plastic type heater to the Spitfire as it was so good with the two speed etc. Anyway if any one needs anything just pm me. No mater how small or insignificant. If it keeps another on the road then It will make me feel better.

Well thats is. The car has gone away to it's new owner and the only bits left are a late model heater and pipes/vents etc. The twin silencer exhaust and the engine/box setup. But the car has gone. It's been fun but Time moves on and thats the end of this thread.
