[mad mk1]

Looks good mate.  What head lights are these? also you may what to think about bracing the top of the lamps.

well i deploy as of friday for 4 months so i only have another week to work on the car before its put under sheets and kept hidden till im back,

 

headlights im not sure really i was given them by a mate, they look like cheap ones but they came with 100 what bulbs so ill see what there like, 

and yeah id already looked at getting steady bars for the lamps as i have a feeling they will bounce around a bit on the front.

 

but im gonna try and sneak a few more hours in on the car in a bit, while shes cooking dinner :)

managed to get ut and get odds and sods done really got the rear half of the wirring in, what a pain that was :/

 

but i did manage to get these on think there gonna look good with wing mirros on them

anyone had an issue with screen rubbers, as my front one is to big and my rear one is to small and its massivly noticable

You're supposed to trim them anyways, they come too big on purpose

ive never had to do that before, and the rear is noticably smaller, ill fit it again tonight and take a pic

 

its rather annoying, gonna put and order in with mini spares as well for the last few bits and bobs so i can get the last of my new parts fitted, beofre i go i just hope if i phone them first thing monday mornign parts will be with me tuesday

i didnt think the rear screen was smaller on a mk1

 

hmm its strange i was gonna see if i could stretch it but its rock solid, sod it ill just order a new one

Haha yeah thats your best bet, ahh yeah mk1 shell's had a smaller rear window aperture :/

that will be why it doesnt fit then, well i can get the side windows and door windows in and get a front screen fitted, and then finger crossed get the rear done.

 

might see if im allowed to do some more on it in a bit :)

i know have all the side windows in the car, what a pain in the ass of a job, just have the front and rear to do but seal doesnt turn up till tomorrow so ill do them both tomorrow once my hangover has gone, as well im off out tonight as its my last chance i will before i fly away, will do a massive update tomorrow with pics

got loads done to the car so im rather happy, still a massive list of jobs but there will be no prgress now till i get back later on this year, and then ill have a big push to try and get the mini done.
