Can i ask ,did you use the a panels with strengthing pieces inside? I can see your using carbon fibre doors but they will soon be weighty when the glass/perspex is in place

No there std a panle's although they have spreader plates on the inside of them but the doors them selfs will just have Perspex windows and the catches fitted so there is no really weight on the doors them selfs, I've been sent more pictures but I can't upload them as I'm at sea so will have to wait till the weekend

Well inside is in paint and the roof has been painted, we decided to stone ship the inside to try and toughen it up as it's not gonna be a show and shine car, should be painting the rest of the body today on plus side my flights have been brough forward so I'm home sooner than I thought fingers crossed massive update Saturday

Good progress, isn't it expense to fly from Scotland to Cornwall or does the navy pay?

Yeah it is expensive, sometimes they do alot of the time I get a lift home with a mate which costs me £30 nd he drops me off and takes me back so it's not to bad, but I earn enough to come back as and when really with out worrying

In other new car is in paint now and is looking good, I'm gonna e back home tomorrow evening so ill upload pics tomorrow night :)

yeah its good, im not getting it back till wednesday as the guys gonna polish it all up for me first, and then i can start putting things back on it.

 

need to find me an engine still as well

thursday morning i will have this back in my life to start building up, looks like ive got a 1340 engine, should shift along nicely.

 

im more than excited to start bolting the shiny parts back on

cheers. well i have all of next week off so im gonna be pedal to the metal to get as much as i can done before i go back to work. 

 

gonna clean my garage out ready to bring it home today, and i need to go and get some nuts and bolts and wirring conectors as well so ill be able just to sit in my garage and crack on

Looks amazing.  You have come a long way in a very short space of time so thumbs up to you.

 

Will be interesting to see the progress over the next few weeks.....should be finished in a month at this rate (wife and shopping permiting!!!!!!!)
