had a mate come over to look at spraying my car, gonan do me a really good rate, just got a load more work to do

blah i dont want to go back to work tomorrow

i want another week of work to get it done :)

well after getting back to work today to being told we have nothing for you, but you cant go on leave, im sat in an office doing nothing, cant work on the mini as its 600 miles away, and have no work to be doing from the navy.

and they wonder why people leave all the time.

so if anyone would like to employ a chef for a couple of years all wang my notice in

woohoo, 3 1/2 day working week and a 4 1/2 day long weekend. and then 2 more weeks leave as of next friday.

so this is gonna be me doign the last big push, as i have 5 weeks in total before i go for 6 months, so i reckon small amout of welding that needs doing i can get done, the body work done, and at least get everything built on it, so when i come back at xmas, all i have left is to build a engine for the car and get it mot'd

i reckon its do able, as i got most of the heard work done in 2 weeks.

just means ill have to place a few orders to get the rest of the parts like wheels so its not sat on 4 diffrent size wheels and then i can get the ride height sorted out.

still have no idea of what to do with the interia, could do with some suggestions really, any one got any ideas?

cant wait to get back behind the wheel of the mini again though

done loads to this, it now rolls, and all the welding is done.
and i have almost all the parts to rebuild it bar an engine really, so just a wait for it to be painted, so i can start rebuilding it

will post some pics in a min just uploading them

this is it as its stands, although i trial fitted my dash yesterday i didnt see it very important, not that any one reads this

ahaha, its of for paint thursday, but as im not bag till end of next month my spray guy has got tuns of time to get it done.

so be almost built by june the 12th

well cars been collected for paint today and im back to work tomorrow, get it back around the 27th of next month, so will update with pics when i get it back

well ive managed to collect everything to rebuild the car except and engine for it :/

 

and im not really sure what route to go down

 

the cars not gonna be used to run the length on the country every weekend, its just gonna have to do it once or twice and other than its gonna spend its life be driven round the amazing roads i have here in scotland

Followed this right from the start, I am looking forward to seeing how you tackle the cabling / brakes etc. That is always the real challenge with a rally build as far as I can work out. (not done it myself)

brakes im goignt o set up at my mates mot sationa s im goign to be runnign a hydro handbrake as well, and a willwood bias valve, so ill set it all up propperly, and then im gonna get it trailered some were to have the courner weights sorted and susspension set up. well im out of the country 12th of june till october with work, so im doing as much as i can to the car when im back next saturday, so there will be alot of updates going on. and then nothing, till october when ill push again to get more done, but realistickly i cant see this being up and runnign till june next year because of the amount of time im going to be spending out of the country. but im gonna cover it up and make sure its sealed of to the elements
