Right after a scary weekend of not getting oil pressure in the engine and me thinking of burning the whole car to the ground problem fixed it was actually me being to scared to allow pressure to build up, so now it sits with 80 psi attention can now turn back to ordering parts instead of burning it
;)

Yeah might do, it's gonna be a weekend car really as doors don't lock and it's not very practical, and she doesn't look as good in the flesh, there's already bits which I plan to change when she's on the road the first being new doors and windows, as the ones on it are rubbish so there's a list of upgrades already lol

nod I wouldn't worry about perfection for shows around here..
most cars are bodged up so something solid and fresh is amazing

Should really make more of an effort

It's getting there Ive placed an order for all the fuel parts so they should be here by next weekend which means I'll plumb it all in and try and get it to fire,

No reason why it shouldn't fire first time, I just need to finish a bit or wirring of from the dizzy

It has 3 wires coming out off it,mine re done black as normal and a blue wire :/ anyone got an idea what that's for?

Hi there,

been following your build for some time now, got to say its looking good. have you thought about having twin fuel pumps, incase one brakes during an event? seen it happen before when someone only had the one pump, and had to retire. just good insurance to make sure you finish, being as events are not cheap!

Yeah I've already looked into it, and it's something I have thought about, right now I'm building it to get it on the road as I have the mrs complaining that it's not moved in 5 years :/
So first job is get it running keep her sweet and then secretly take it off the road again for upgrades, that way I can keep her happy and just say I'm tinkering with it and means I have some were to go and hide as well

I'm gonna run socks instead of a filter as there's not much room in the weber box

I'm gonna have to sort out wirring which is my main issue, I can't be dealings with it, does my head in
