had a productive weekend managed so sort my steering boss out so now my steering wheel sits straight and not to the right making it a lot better to drive. still want a new wheel though. Then adjusted the handbrake so it actually works. its lot harder when you have 2 massive seats in the way !
also put on a new sticker

Thanks Smiler!
i really was thinking off going on 10s but the last break down cost a bomb and had to have my Hubs and brakes Replaced so 10 s are currently off the a gender at least for a bit
Much appreciated just what a bit off the blue theme to extend to the out side off the car and not just the interior going to need a long think on what to do.

Update
Fitted a shiny new front bumper, took my arches off and added some rubber trim i had. Think it sets it off quite well and smartens it up at bit, thinking off doing a chrome or rubber lip but might be a bit much ?
also i thought my debadged Bonnet looks a bit empty so got a Austin badge to match the Grill ( Yeh its not a cooper but its a discrete badge and looks ace in my opinion
so will prob try and bond it to the bonnet when it arrives hope i can position it right

Manged to fit the Austin badge. cut the legs off it and glued it with Araldite hardest part was positioning it in the right place. but happy how it turned out. like it ten times better than a debadged bonnet added a bit off class back
Progress wont be much this week got as busy week as i got work and accounts exams :mmkay:Yay! . but will hopefully have the Wheel studs and spacers removed in a few weeks and possibly have a mk1 boot lid and a new front valance ready to be welded on.
Thanks for looking.

Few updates today Finally changed the Front Studs and removed the 10cm Spacers prefer that all 4 wheels stick out the same even it its now slightly over arched. Minis handling was improved in bounds with out them!steering feels more direct and a lot lighter to steer. plus a lot less strain on suspension parts. back to the go-kart feel again
Pic from test drive
In other news brought a Old style racing wheel steering wheel out the blue. got now idea what make it is! so any ideas or info would be great help ? its going to need a a lot off work to make it look new again was thinking painting it gray, anthracite or just clean and polish it. but will hopefully look more period than the chavy Monterey wheel
