Mine were fitted in the same gap in the seal that the window glass does.
That didnt work for me, we couldnt get the window up as it got caught against the wind deflector.
& Even then we had to get the sticky tap to stick, and that would have been even worse lol

Just wind the window up as far as it will go without forcing it, leave it a while to settle, then wind it a little more. After some time it all fits together for the window to close enough to seal.

Not tried to fit them yet but the instructions say they go between the seal & door not in the glass channel ?
Got mine in
I took the sticky strip off though, as the deflector didn't go high enough into the door, and you could see it from outside...

Thats where i thought they would go..Got mine in
