and all back together again, please excuse the one extra long thermostat stud, it only temporary. its a shame the manifold obscures the nicely painted engine
Temporary fix my foot, that bolt is still on the car now lol.
I brought it last year off a chap in Kent. I think he brought it from you, as there is some paperwork from the eBay listing.
It came to me with no antifreeze in so I draind it down and fitted a air bleed in the top hose of the rad. It runs cool as you like now. Although I have not had the car through a summer yet!

The car is looking good. Now has black set covers. Did you fit them or did the chap I brought it from do it? He had the engine out and fitted higher ratio diff gears. He left an oil leak, which is annoying. I can't see where the oil is leaking as it gets every where, I think due to all the air movement down there. I don't really want to drop the engine just to fix the leak, so I will live with it for now.
The gel coat has faded quite a lot on the boot and bonnet. It looks nice and shiny when you had it. I'm borrowing my brothers buffer to give it a good t cut at the weekend, That should bring it up to a good shine again. I did a small patch by hand and it came up well.
Did you ever have the soft top on the car. When I got it parts of the fixings to the top of the screen were missing. I have made it fit using bits of s/steel studing and wing nuts. It fits OK and looks good.
I had a look at your other photos on photobucket. Love the disabled scooter regal supervan III. Is it finished yet? I have a 1963 3/25 regal and a 1973 3/30 regal (saloon version of the van)
