Santa was very nice and brought me new number plates. Too wet out so this is only pic I got.

So SSI was taken out for a few test drives and seemed to be getting a bit hot.
So after some chin scratching we decided to do some de-coking and give him a new
head gasket while inspecting the head etc, along with new Valve oil seals, thermostat
blanking sleeve, new upper rad hose and a new distributor to boot.

Also picked up a 6 blade heritage fan to give some extra cooling.

Lets hope that sorts everything.

So it's ICE time.



Plan is not to use a head unit but to have an iPod dock discretely on the dash.
Plug that into the Amp and then run speakers off that. Components up front in pods
and speakers in the rear parcel shelf.

Let you know how I get on.

Drill holes and insert and catch at back with little plastic lugs.

Interested in the Ipod dock setup. How do you plan to power the dock?

The cable I have (see pic) takes a feed from the amp and so when I plug my phone into the dock it will charge it also. And the amp will be connected to the ignition and will turn on the amp.

Ahhh i see, so the amp will just take the sound output directly from the phone then feed out to the speakers.

Where did you get the dock and cable?
