I set up my components up front in pods with tweeters on the dash rail in the corners and hooked them up to the Amp under the seat out of view. Then I connected my iPhone to the amp with a cable. All works great but I'm gonna need a volume control knob so I've ordered one of those as I'm unable to control the volume with the iPhone once connected. Sweet extra is it charges the phone too.

The only thing I would do which I've noticed in your pics is change the switch panel to a mk2 version with toggle switches and retro heater and choke cables, would be a nice further mod to do. Other than that it's bob-on for me.
Great build.
Cheers,
Chris

Nice set of pics there mate. Liking the elf pockets, look as though there meant to be there! Now on my list haha!

I am in darkest Africa and am busy amassing lots of expensive shiney bits to build my Mini and have to import most of it from mud island - where did you buy the bumpers and over riders? which ones are they as I worry about paying a bloody fortune, waiting for ages and ending up with crap.? AND where did you get the chrome surrounds for the doors?
Cheers

Sorry about this Maverick, I hate the "where did you get your.......posts" but here is another.

Ask away I don't mind. I got all my Chrome work from MiniSport including the cooper door trim. They are all chrome. I think the rear bump is stainless steel so it's a tad duller in comparison. Nothing highly noticeable. Good luck with your build! Do you have a thread yet?

So yes I could fit 2 minis under it but I have a plan.
I started by turning it inside out and pinning it to fit my mini. Trimming off the excess from the front and back and next thing to do is run it thru a seeing machine and hey presto a fitted cover!
