Awesome. Any more info on the car? Year, engine size, mileage etc?

I think my biggest worry about a trip like this which would prevent me from doing it would be:

1. Getting robbed lol
2. Breaking down in the middle of absolute nowhere

I could just picture myself and a mini in the middle of a massive desert with no phone reception saying "*******".

FANTASTIC!!!.....This thread should be pinned!!.....

(preferably to the foreheads of all those mini owners who seem to think that the classic mini isn't practical/reliable enough for long journeys or to use as a daily drive!! )

Awesome! What (if any) spare bits did you take with you? Agree with this getting pinned, should stop the 'is my car going to breakdown on the way to the shops' threads

Well done and great pictures! ....I love going on long European road trips and continental driving holidays but sadly the era of cheap air travel has made most people these days forget how much fun it is to leave GB on a car ferry or by Euro Tunnel and drive off into the sunset.......even though all cars (and Mini's) are more reliable than they were years ago!

Good for you both and good for "Harry"! :highfive:

I've now looked through the Photobucket and found which seats kept you 'comfortable' for 15,000 miles ;-)

It is beginning to give me an idea for a driving holiday next year in Tiddles, our 998 ... but I'll have to persuade myself to want to drive round Europe without air conditioning or suspension even before I can persuade madam!
