Just a quick update...

I'VE GOT IT OFF!!!
Well most of it. I clean car parts at work with gizer and wear rubber gloves whilst doing so. The gizer eats the gloves and they need to be replaced every five minutes or so. So a few days ago while I was cleaning bits it hit me! I immediately ran over to the mini with a rag soaked in the stuff. Scrub daub dub, straight off. So I filled a spray gun with gizer and soaked it every hour all over the car for the day then power washed it all off no problems! :-) now it's booked in the spray shop in 3 weeks time to get sorted once and for all :-)
Happy days

From reading up alot about plasti dip ist sounds like you just put it on too thinly. It looks very interesting other than the fact the uk importers seem to be crap at stock managment and constantly run out.
Glad to hear you got it sorted now tho

I appreciated what you're saying but the tin it came in was sprayed in the workshop and has never seen sun.... Only a dusting of dip... Peels of perfect. It's such a shame really because the day I dipped it and put it all back together again it really did look amazing... Never mind ey

i have used plastidip a few times i done  2000 audi tt in white it needs to go on top of gloss paint . After 9 months it peeled off easily and i redone it gunmetal grey . its very easy to use and looks great but you need to buy the original plastidip and use the plastidip thinners  don't buy the pre thinned crap as it too weak and you don't know what your getting i have have tried it  and it was useless . the first time i used it i messed a few panels up you need lots of coats to get a good finish .
