There's a metalizer that I think would look quite cool. Gonna see how long this colour lasts first. From what I've read plasti dip will hold in some cases a few months, in others a few years. Hopefully I'll get bored before that happens. If that's the case the next time I do it I'll definitely experiment with it a bit more. But for now, I'm VERY happy with it :-)

When you said you'd blacked the chrome I thought it would look terrible, but it looks soo good! :proud: The contrast is really nice, Just stay away from high pressure car washes. Nice Job.

Went ahead and plast dipped the wheels today as well. Driven it for the first time today in the sunshine. Pulled up outside the pub and EVERYONE outside was staring at me lol with big grins! Kinda getting fed up of talking to people about it already!!

Anyways, here's some pics of it finished off...

All I can say is the pictures do it NO justice whatsoever as to the brightness off the orange. To the point where people are pulling out in front of me while I'm indicating because the indicators aren't as bright as the car!

Started it Friday after work until 10 so 5 hours friday. That was stripping, rubbing and priming. Then Saturday 9 to 7 spraying the plasti dip and re-fitting. And finally today 11 till about 2 dipping the wheels. So what's that about 15 hours. Not that long really. And all in all cost me around about £175. Happy days

The whole point of this method is that you do not affect the original paint on the car. Please don't perform paint prep on the car like keying the paint and priming. Just clean it properly!
