Front Speaker Pods

Got some 5.25" speakers that I just left under the front seats on the floor, so they were pretty quiet and crap under there
Although it's been like that for nearly a year
I basically got this far, aiming for AP type pods
All chopped
Materials are quite chunky ( I dont know if this will be a problem? It's just spare stuff I have at home :)
This is the only mesh I have its quite stiff so I may get some thinner stuff if I need it for the membrane.
Ive got to get some mesh to make the membrane but I'll be using fibre stuff that goes in lofts/walls as per 'c
onlad' thread on here :)
Any advice or criticism or anything else welcome

Haha, but yeah looking fine so far I reckon!
Its thin stuff, infact its the stuff you'd use on a car to fill a hole to then fibreglass over so this stuff

Hopefully get them done tomorrow
I'll need to buy some mesh and fibre glass stuff to do the sides anyway :)
Then I plan to cover it in a fabric to match my carpets :)

Tried one as im back at work and ran out of daylight and it's 10x better than before :)
I might tidy the edges up but I'm not that bothered as it stands

You want a decent size hole for the air to move freely, too small and it will restrict and effect the action of the Aperiodic enclosure.
That aside the AP enclosures are ideal for minis as they dont take up much room and sound better than a small sealed or open back pod.

Bloody hell that was quick!

Sorry for late reply
Ive got some L brackets
Well I had some metal that ive bent 90degree and drilled holes in so they're L brackets now
Can I just self tapper into an existing hole on the dash rail?
I havent mounted them yet though

I'd use these, they work like a dream, more secure than a self tapper anyway
