Il find the other two (3 series run) and get some pics up!
The three are April, may and June of 1974. It all looks very similar to the mag pics! Apart from the rear end fuel filler and missing battery cut off not there now.

It has the very early front tunnel with seperate starter button pressing, also the early large floorpans........look a bit battered but in good solid condition, the flat sills often survive because they were foam filled at the factory to prevent water leaks but also stopped rusting to a large extent.
My brother has just fitted these early replacement floorpans to a '59 shell which had rusted out beyond repair......they are available via '59 register but yours look ok.
Great that another '59 Mini will be saved with your project.

Very nice, a good project to be working on. I don't know a great deal about the very earliest minis, except that glass washer bottles go for a lot of money!
Good luck with the work, and you'll have to keep the pictures flowing.

Keep the car modified as per Mr Game!! Build it to classic miglia spec like mine was. I've got an old special tuning cam that would have been fitted in yours back then, I'm not using it, when you build your engine lemme know if you want it;)
thank you mate what the cam for a 1275? or is generic high lift cam? ethier way that would be spot on will try and get the car down combe for mini world action day
and jordan i think we better had ive emailed the 59 register trying to get a certificate sorted ;)

sweet got some more research to do then probably start pulling it apart and sorting it out going to cut off the rubbish brace bars and remove the front subframe that will be blasted and striped and have brand new parts to build it back up and of course decided on and engine and ethier a remote or rod change gearbox.

well a plan of action has been put in place sadly i wont be buying this car my best mate will be after he sales his second mini. I will be heavily involved and most likely often behind the wheel of the car when its up and running again but it is now down to him to make the decisions. Due to my Micra Mini project http://www.theminifo...-track-day-car/ taking out all my spare funds we originally wanted to go half s or i would buy the car outright in time but looks like it wont happened what ever happens the cars future is safe and not going up for sale. Updates will be coming soon il see you track side at mini world action day :)
