I'm toying with the idea of a ram pipe and sock filter.. but I'm having issues finding a ram pipe that is said to fit a HIF38. Could anyone point me in the right direction and give me some general advice?
Can I fit to a completely standard 1275cc engine with the HIF 38, and what kind of noise and power gain am I looking at?

not sure where you get one
...but you wont have a noticeable power gain.. just a HUGE! gain in sound !!!
daemon tweaks is where i've got mine from and the sock filter to go with it. it's all about the induction roar

is it really that loud? o.O
yes, especially if you are going to go straight from the standard filter box to a trumpet, you will notice it alot more

yes i know, 4/8 simplifys to 1/2, i was trying to make it obvious where i got the number from. HS4 means four eighths over an inch hence 4/8th's or 1/2 to avoid confusion....and yes i did complete high school with an A* in maths and i currently do A level maths, further maths and physics.................

Just heard you can get pipes to reroute round to the front of the engine bay, anyone got info on these?
make sure the pipe size isn't too small and is going to restrict air flow and lots of tight bends will do the same
