Jus put my new mk1 grill on with black grill buttons!
I think it looks lovely!

Just need to put my roller painted mk1 bonnet on now, which I'll do tomorrow.

Looks shiny in the pic but it is far from it ( paint was wet).
Not the best glossy result but it'll do for the time being.

Just need the moustache for the grill now to cover up the screw holes and stuff from the old mk3 grill and surround.

Yeah I am pleased, just need to touch up the areas where the old grill a left its mark over the years.
Will the moustache hide the screw holes up top?

Went to fit my bonnet but it wouldn't fit, I think it's due to my front panel which is slightly out, Nevermind, I just took the lip off my normal bonnet.
What do you think?

Ah nice, looks very good!

It wasn't too bad really, I just drilled out the spot welds on the lip and prised it off. Took about an hour or so but is worth it.
Didn't damage the front either, just needs painting on the underside as there is surface rust, and about 8 holes that need filling, but you can't see them anyway!
