Mini Cooper 06 R53 Won't Start

This is my first post, I've got a Mini Cooper everything was fine on the car it went in for an MOT then when it was backed out after passing its stalled then it would just turn over and wouldn't start.
Since then the immobilizer has been replaced. I've been told there is no comms to any module within the car however there is comms to the modules outside.
It's been like this now for quite some time, I'm not in a finicial position to be able to take it down to a main mini garage as I don't fancy being spanked.
If anyone has any suggestions or can be of help that would be great.
I've just recently swapped the main clocks in the car as I was told this module controls all the ones inside I still have the same problem, there is power to all areas of the car.
many thanks

At least you can ask on mini2.com if someone can borrow a diagnostic/code reader.
Please update us on this because i'm still on the learing process on the bini.
The following is not correct:
But once you change the main clock, the data stored in it wont match with the keyfob and the ECU which will return an error, so that could be a reason for it not starting.I've just recently swapped the main clocks in the car as I was told this module controls all the ones inside I still have the same problem, there is power to all areas of the car.
Good luck

This forum is for the classic mini's ,Try http://www.mini2.com/
This forum is NOT just for classic Mini's and I think its wrong to say so...yes it is fair to say that most of the members on here drive the clasic mini..but a lot also drive the new mini, so why send people to the other forum when as shown above, help is available here.

Yes but that's not what you said.
You said this forum is for classic minis, which it isn't exclusively.

Maybe it ought to be just for the classic then, because the others aren't really Mini's are they! (I'm Running away now to hide from the fallout) lol

TMF is BMW MINI tolerant and posts that are in any way offensive towards owners of BMW MINI's will be removed and the forum member will be warned. Continual disregarding of this will result in further action being taken.
TMF however is focused on the Classic Mini, therefore it is appropriate to direct any technical advice on BMW MINI's to a more relevant forum if you cannot answer the question. Below is a link to MINI2 - an online community dedicated to the BMW MINI

There are many members on here with both Minis and MINIs who are able to offer good, sound advice to MINI owners and enjoy doing so. Therefore, it would seem sensible to allow those members the time to look at these type of posts and offer their words of wisdom. If you can't help the original poster, I expect within a few hours someone on here will be along to help, so give them the chance . I often see TMF members leap in within a few minutes of a MINI post appearing redirecting the original poster to another forum which is a pity for those members who could have helped. Just my tuppence worth
