I have a 1961 mini van..... 850cc smooth roof wand shift.. All that magical stuff.

Think I'll need to digg up my old miniworlds  :-)

 

Found the copy of the V5 last week. It's first registered october '60. I know about 15 years ago it was the oldest known around back then. Now there some older ones turned up over the past years.

I did put in a map with all the copy's of the paperwork from most cars I had in the past  ;D

Miss the van we used to have :/ wasn't in great nick and I don't even think it actually still exists.

This is reputedly the oldest surviving van registered on the 16th June 1960. Chassis No A AV7 23137, Engine No 8AM FAU H 34943

This is my friend's van registered in October 1960 Chassis No M AV4 105650

I keep a private record of chassis numbers, engine numbers etc for Early Mini Van and Pick Up and would be pleased if anyone wished to add the details of their Van/Pick Up to the list. I don't need to know names of owners as it is purely a build record that I like to keep :-)

My Van is December 12th 1960, so I think it is around the 5th oldest surviving Van.
