Belt Drive

Hi I have a belt drive dowel system was wondering if any one new where the dowels start off as standard dot to dot timing ? And the increase 2 degrees each dowel ?

Why belt drive? Far better with a good duplex chain.....

Any instructions on the likes of Minispares 'n KAD?

I'd expect 1 degree increments, so it can be as accurate as using offset keys, but I'd still use a protractor and dial gauge anyway: knowing you've adjusted it by a number of degrees isn't much use if you don't know where you were adjusting it from.

Owning a belt kit is reason enough to use it, but they are quieter, stay more accurate and consume less power. Of course there might be a bigger risk of snapping & mangled valves, if your cam has enough lift
