The have to be the best made exhaust I have ever tried, just wish my side exit never came with a rolled tip. If you like the sound a look that is all matters. As for power I bet there is hardly any noticeable difference up or down so I wouldn't get to hung up on that. Life is far too short.

He's got a point though, it does depend on what you want. If you're building a lightweight Mini with lots of well thought out go-faster mods, it would be a bit silly to bung on an exhaust that reduces the power you've spent so much to gain just for the look and sound. But if you're building your Mini just to look and sound as you want it, even if it's gained a bit more oomph overall, losing a few bhp may be a price you think is worth paying. And if that's why you're buiding your Mini, who cares about bhp?

I sit on the fence with twin DTMs. If I were to buy another Mini now I definitely wouldn't go for one, but when I rebuild my current one I want it to retain the same character and the twin DTM nakes up part of that character.

I hate this exhaust debate, If you have the correct bore pipe running from the engine to backbox, then I'm pretty sure less than a foot of 3 inch bore isn't going to make a difference to power.

Looks nice
Have you got any pictures a bit further back to try and get a bit of proportion between the exhaust an the car?

Gus has a Fletcher and it putting aside debates on power loss, he certainly sounds good, although he was blowing slightly when we first bought him and it made the house windows rattle O_O
