Looking superb mate, when's the turbo being fitted!?

Particulalry like the coilovers/mounts, manifold and smooth bulkhead, keep us updated with how she drives, would be really interested to know more about the setup of these things and how you might try to deal with getting off the line?

Thanks for that. Did a track day Monday had a great time at the Bedford autodrome the car handled great no problems with the setup. With the tryes fitted didn't expect other to stick the way it did. Think a gripper diff is needed the escort diff is a little old and Wayne thinks its the way forward. Still feels strange holding a car flat out 2 over 10 000 rpm.

That looks a great piece of kit.Does it have a reverse gear like the pro motive kit?

No reverse at the minute but there will be bolt on starter for reverse coming soon its easy enough 2 push though. The car will come 2 pieces soon for a re paint just to finish it off properly.

Stripped the car down last week to look at my diff and discovered that i had seized my rs diff due to lack of lube. Glad it broke on the track could of been nasty otherwise. Finally bit the bullet and rang gripper to order a proper diff i knew my diff was temporary but would of been good to run at mitp i was gutted to miss out especially with Avon.park being cancelled.

lynx frame is approx 670 pounds that includes the vat ,dont know what it would cost to ship to new zealand though , might be worth a phonecall

I presume you are talking just the frame. Kits are a lot more than that.

As the frame is made to suit a custom differential housing, you would either have to buy all the associated differential stuff aswell or heavily modify the most complex part of the subframe to use an alternative differential. It's all doable but by the time you cut and modify the bulk of the frame then you would of paid something like a thousand pounds for this frame delivered to the other side of the world and then only use a minor portion of it, the easy bits, engine mounts and engine support.

If your capable of doing all that, then buy yourself £30 worth of box section and do the whole lot yourself to suit a locally sourced differential

yep il be using lynx frame and diff ,still loads cheaper than buying the whole kit
