I've not even been keeping track but it is too many just can't wait for it to be on the road eating tyres lol

Well had a good day in the garage today got the radiator in and the gear change sorted

And this is my clearance to the front end

I need to put a bend in the selecter rod as it touches the body. I modified parts if the steering column I don't need

Just the steady bar to make and see if I can get all the gears

Ha I don't think catching but I'll get there. It's the standard mini one welded to parts of the mg steering column

I've just read through this whole thread and all i can say is wow. The work done is inspiring me to go and start my project!

 

Can i quickly as how you got your rear back to bear metal? I want to do that to the whole car to it can be fully repainted.

This work is intense. I certainly wouldn't have the patience for this. I'd want it on the road asap i.e. getting a BMH shell and getting the VIN switched. 

 

Other than that amazing work so far! Have you got a build cost to date?

A few bits I've done over the last couple of days

Got the linkage all done and got all five gears first time!!

And made the manifold smaller and closer to the block so it fits under the front with a little trimming

The line on my front is the grille line so I've still git some clearance lol
