Quick question though. Can the underside be treated with polyurethane ruberising? Would it work and hoe durable would it be.
Cheers. And again well done

Fantastic work, your welding is excellent, so much neater than mine ever was and the grinding back makes an invisible repair. Well done.. Are you just seam sealing on the inside or doing some tacks in there too ??
Graham
When I cut the bumper lip off and debumpering ill be doing a few 1" welds on the inside just to make sure then seam sealing the lot up

Getting very bored of bodywork welding at the moment and had a full day off yesterday so started on the new frame and the first logical step was to weld in a cross brace for towers
And a cheeky close up of some real welding lol
Then on to a jig so I can start chopping
It ties in all the major points so it will do
Then my last cutting disc shattered so no more play so got on with removing most of the carp out the way of the zr engine ready for removal

Bwahahaha, I knew you'd crack! On with the fun stuff!
You won't care what the back end looks like once you have a go pedal with 160bhp anyway

That's what she said!
Congrats on the big step.
So tell me, is it the 50kg lighter that it's supposedly?
Time to get exciting, dude!!
I should have the new car delivered by Thursday evening ready to go (hopefully) so I'm at your disposal should you want/need me.
I won't bring my subframe just yet
More progress!

Ha ha defiantly not lol
I need it rolling on the back so when I get the frame done and in I can take the first test drive without worrying about the rear end
