Hi 30!
Just read through your project thread and am very impressed with your progress.
You are brave doing an engine conversion as a first project but it looks as though you have everything in hand.
Good luck with it all.

After some terrible terror attacks in town I defy terrorism by working on the mini.... Because I can.
Quarter panels gone and working to clean it up and install the new ones soonish.

Looking at putting in the quarter panels. Does anyone have detailed pics of the best place to but the quarter panel towards the door? I have no other issues with the rear, top and bottom. Just curious how to make it seemless.
Thanks

Van thank you. Great thread by the way! In the future and once I install a heat system in my garage I think I too will try and fabricate a lot of my own stuff. I just wish I had more time. But Im only 35.
Moving forward I was able to get some stuff sand blasted and applied POR 15.
To those that have asked in the past I applied POR 15 to the entire bottom of the car and its still rock hard. HOWEVER. I also applied POR 15 to the trailing arms and its not working out. The reason is I sand blasted the trailing arms then applied the marine clean and metal prep and Applied the POR 15 too soon and the metal was not bone dry in my opinion.
For best results sand blast and apply POR 15 ASAP. If you dont care to sand blast you MUST apply marine clean and metal prep as directed for best results. Which is have the bottom of the car and the results are INSANE!!!! Lots of confidence moving forward with this product. Plus I have a gallon of the POR 15 and I will never use any where close to half of it as it spreads and just keeps on spreading.
Enjoy
