the engine is pretty much ready to go back in, with the help of a couple of mates it will be back on the floor off the engine stand and ready to go tommorow.
Wont be going back in for a bit yet as im still doing my wiring loom and tidying some other bits up.
What do you reckon?
You cant see it but the fan is a 16 blade metal one that ive had chromed.

There not going to go right to the front like in my avatar, they will start from the back of front arches and along the door/side panel.

good to see another phoenix getting back on the road. I have just bought one myself and I can't find any info about them at all. If only 50 odd were made then they really are rare. Mine is a non runner but since there is no bodywork problems it shouldn't take too long to get back on the road. One question to start off with is why did you feel a need to move the rad from the front to the side, wouldn't the front mounting be more efficient?
Will get some pictures up when I collect the car next week, might even start my own rebuild thread?!

Have you got any pictures of yours and how did you stumble across it? [email protected]
I decided to get rid of the front mounted rad as it was horrible looking and the pipe work was awful, I prefer the original looking engine bay and the super 2 core rad ive got is supposed to be the best most efficient one out there.
Mods if it keeps going like this we will need a fibreglass section soon!
Simon
p.s. heres a little teaser of some more goodies for the engine.
