hi grahama the redtop engine is a 2.0 16v vauxhall engine it is known as a redtop or c20xe great engine very powerfull if tuned up if you go on www.youtube.co.uk and put in redtop mini or 2.0 vauxhall mini you shall see videos off what people have achieved cheers tomTom,
