at first glanse,...
few days welding the front end and window scuttle repair,
floors looking not to bad at first, but give it a good clean out and all the crap out of it and of the floor, could be minor repairs
same as the rear floor and arches surround, looks not bad
nice to get a piccie from under neath,....rear and front...that could tell me more.

all in all looking at those shots,.. 1986/1987 mini city looks not that bad at all.... but..... with a bit of digging near the rust spots,no doubt there will be some hidden challenges. I certainly would not have a problem with restoring it.

is that the engine at the back of the last piccie, standard 59D dizzy suggest it is the origional engine.....

go 4 it, but start slowly on scrap bits to get the fell of it, will take a while to get used to and understanding yr welder what it does and can do. Safety first though!!!

I have a blue Clarke welder Mig105 gas/no gas, it is a smaller one but will do the job for body work, I could do with a bigger one but replace this one when it ever 'blows',.... to be honest blowing up does not happen easely as they have an overheating cut out system.
