Some minis are pushing the 500bhp/tonne mark, so apart from getting it off the line I think it would be quite close.

This is interesting talk, but seriously off topic!
I'd like to hear what parts were used to get 1600cc from an A series too!

Here's another class D Avon vid.
Very interesting video. I used to race here when it was Long Marsdon. Before mini's i raced an austin A30 which looked like the blue A35 seen in this vieo except the A35 had a bigger back window. My A30 was the same color. I don't suppose it still exists but the registration number was SDF399.
.
I have got to say that watching these turbo Min's and the speeds and times they are getting is making me 'A' series turbo hungry. I am still planning on being at Swiftune for a while next year during summer. I'm thinking it might be pretty exciting to team up with a Turbo expert here and get my hands dirty along with some hard core Turbo Min experience. ( don't suppose there would be any volunteers here by any chance!!!!!!!!)

Or better still 0-104 mph in 6.9 seconds, in an A series powered mini, and not a turbo in sight, lol
This sounds a little like a lot of nitrous!!
