If you mean the side windows, fit the seal to the glass, then get some strong cord and feed it into the out seal groove....leave two long ends hanging out next to each other.
Get a mate to press the glass against the opening with the 2 ends of the cord hanging inside the car.

Then from in the car, pull one of the ends slowly, it will peel the rubber lip over the metal lip of the window opening.

I don't have a huge amount of knowledge with the side windows but the rear screen is a doddle! It makes life a lot easier if you fit a new window seal as it will be soft and flexible.
First off is to prise off the chrome fillet trim cap at the top centre of the chrome, next hook up the chrome trim with a screwdriver &and pull it out. (Don't forget to disconnect the heater/demister element from the inside), You'll notice now that the rear window is 'wobbly'.
Something that will save a lot of time here is a wide quality bike tyre lever, these ones are perfect as they're just the right sizes http://www.chainreac...x?ModelID=10042
Starting at the lower left of the rear window insert your tyre lever, hook up the pane and now start sliding it out of the seal, finally lift the glass away & remove the old seal.
And in the phrase of Mr Haynes "Fitting is the reverse of the above" use your tyre lever in reverse now and slide it inbetween the window and seal, the trickiest part is reinstalling the chrome fillet trim, using a 'higer quality' fillet tool with a hook and wheel saves a lot of time, trim off the excess when you get to the top and reinstallt the chrome fillet cap.

I did this on the front about a couple of months ago tyre leavers are good for getting the seal perfect on the window but for the fittment stip you WILL need ad fittment tool there about £6-7 for a cheap one and trust me without one you will be f'ing and blasting for a whole day to only get half done then youll go and buy the tool and do it in half an hour dont bother attempting to do it without one.

tyre leaver is what i used to fit the rubber seal around and they worked brilliantly any flat piece of plastic would do tho

also a bit of saop on the seal would probbably help even tho i didnt bother when i did mine but dont use washing up liquid because they contain salts and itll rust like a b**ch

it may be worth giving the seams a rub down and coat of kuRust and paint while the windows out aswell just to help preven rust coming through in the future. you dont want to have to take the windows out again to fix a bit of rust comming through.

will steer clear of using soap or anything else to put it in to place - bit of elbow grease will do the job

I think using soap is fine, however I never just because I was too lazy to go back indoors to make a solution. I actually used a bit of silicon based 'Dash Board spray' as it's all slidey, never had to use any to remove the glass just for the re-insertion.
Having a look here may help =
The chap in the video cuts the rubber seal, again it's quicker & safer to run a tyre lever around the pane/seal.
Good luck & let us know if you get stuck.

ideally yes. You dont need to soak the seals to fit on the bodywork, i got them in place ans then tapped it down with a v soft mallet. I then liberally sprayed silicon dash spray over the seal for fitting the window pane, one fitted I sprayed the chrome fillet channel with silicon spray & then went to work the chrome trim in; I've heard that 'adult lube' works even better than soap or the 'flash dash' spray I was using.
