How do I fit a dash board, its a three clock with a glovebox. Would simple L brackets do the job and how does it sit?

Are you going from dash liners to a board? I assume you are. I did this in reverse, took out a walnut dash and refitted black liners for the OEM look.
Normally every 10inches or so you will have a threaded bolt coming out of the back of the dashboard which connects to a U metal plate then from the rear of that tightened with a wing-nut.
The 'U' bracket is the perfect size to crab onto the upper & lower dash rail, when tightened against the dash-board with a wing nuts becomes anchor like.
I've still got my dash & attachements, pm me your email address & I'll take some pics for you with better instructions.

Have you got the dashboard yet?
IF so its pretty straight forward when you see it. As said above, these U-brakcets hook to the tip inner edge of the top dash rail and the inner edge of the lower dash rail.

They look like the above ^^^^
It should look like this when fitted:

I've nearly finished the dash, its the one off the Cardiff owners website. Where would I buy these brackets and where are they screwed in from?

Also, another question: what is the best way to cut out the heater holes? I've drilled a few holes and I was going to use my jig saw but this seems like a lot of sanding. Also I'm making the dash so it fits with the plastic binnacle, is it easy to to this ie cut big rectangle out and thats it or would just the clocks look better? I just want the easiest at the minute :)
