Mk.1 Minis didn't have wing mirrors as standard as they were not a legal requirement back then. There were many different after-market units which most owners chose from if they decided they wanted wing mirrors.

Old door mirror, how do we make appear more valuable, I know, let's say it's off a Mk1 Mini.

As Cooperman says, Minis saloons did not come with wing mirrors as standard. Most fitted when the cars were new were fitted by the supllying dealers, just like the one on my '63 Austin. Winguards were a popular choice. I managed to find a pair at a Mini show a few years ago to replace the glasses on mine. The best place other than Ebay to find them is at an Autojumble or Classic Cars Show.

I have flat ones mounted.

If you mount on the doors, then you'd need convex ones, but not for the wings.

and I have no blind spots =)
I love my wing mirrors, I can see a person at all times walking circles around my car without moving my head.

A mate of mine has the round type fitted on the doors of his 1961 Austin Seven.

The convex mirror lense will help on a door mirror, but mounted on the wing eveything will look a long way away. I have to say that wing mirrors are only good for seeing what behind you. To see what is next to me and in the blind spot I do what motorcyclists call 'a life saver' and have a look over my shoulder.

if you want the 60's period look do you put the round ones 2/3 down the wing?
