Had my Year 11 leavers prom Yesterday and grabbed a few snaps of my step dad's Turbo'd Mk1 Capri and my Mates Dad's Mini

Was really good to turn up in something a bit different and special compared to the bland limo's and bentley's and stuff...

I wanted to go in one of my friends rally cars but none of them are on the road at the moment

Shame really, he has a replica of L33 EJB, a mk1 cooper s 1275 rally car that he and my dad built in the sixties and he is currently rebuilding BJB 77B

Very nice.

All this 'prom' business is alien to me, when I was at school we were lucky to get a 'disco' in the sports hall... where on one occasion booze was smuggled in via Coke cans and everyone get sent home early lol. Even then, the vehicle of choice was my father's brown Mk1 Cavalier

Very nice, had my Y11 prom monday, wen't in a Wolseley 6/110 similair to a Westminster, absolutley loved it!
