It was a great day from start to finish.

Cheers Rids and the boys for inviting me along to drive down with you, I'm sure you could have all gone a lot quicker with out me tagging along.

There was loads to see both on the ground and in the air, and the choice of grub was amazing. Also the crowds watching Russ Swift were huge, I've never seen so many watching his shows.

There was even stuff on the beach to see, but you had to be quick 'because the tide washed it away.

The Italian Job cars looked great, especially in front of the Street Art.

There was a great line up of cars to see, and all the local clubs were there.

Here's some of my fave cars from the day including a real nice MkIIIS.

It did look amazing! Were you dressed in blue overalls ?

Yeah, I was wearing a blue overall and a black t-shirt with 'MINI 1959 - 2000' printed on the back. (Pictured below talking to the guy who owns the IJ Minis.

Well. i've collected most the parts together, manifolds etc, and I had finished the brackets, but i'm not happy with the position, so i'm going to reposition it, and make some new mounts, just time is short at the moment. I Have ohdears engine to build before santra pod

Yea real mayhem at the moment, but I will finish it as soon as I can, I think most of the hard work has been done getting the engine in.

Probably the hardest part is finding somewhere local which will do the drive shafts for me, either that or get a lathe up and running.
