No, go on the DVLA website and you can contact them if the tax disc has been lost/stolen/destroyed etc. If the car has been reported stolen I assume they will give you what you deserve back without any charges from the day it was stolen (but don't quote me on that).
They did this with my old Capri which set itself on fire while I was driving it and was written off, they refunded the tax back in full from the day of the fire. Lucky since I didn't think of taking the tax disc out at the time.

Not to get hopes up or anything but saw a black mini quickly with a mid logo in the rear window around yardley area like this one last week midday didnt see enough to confirm or deny if it was this exact one. Goodluck none the less. i know a few minis have been going walkys around birmingham lately.

This is such a shame. I remember seeing this for sale and I think we chatted about the wheels or something. Hope he turns up. Can't believe some of the scumbags out there. If and when you get him back would it be worth fitting a tracker or something? I had one on my MG I don't think it was expensive.. Can't quite remember.
