im going to cut up and weld two battery boxes together and insert them in to the bulkhead and weld them in. the manifold is plonked on when bolted up it tips the webers up so should avoid the bulkhead plus the engine has not been mounted properly yet in the frame need to cut more out the back and want to raise the engine up abit more if possible. but the idea is to build a inclosed air box so the air filter will be in closed in the weber box so no heat soak can occur from the engine then line the bulkhead with foil seen this done with a couple of mini miglas . i then want to run pipes from the fresh air vents in the inner wings into the sides of the weber box supply cool fresh air. the pipes will run down the brace bars along the front of the frame and il make to cuts in bottom corners on my clubman front end for it 12 cm above the ground what is considered the optimum height for a cold air feed. hopefully this will help create afew more BHP
