Hi all, I brought a set of Spax Krypton gas adjustable shock absorbers, (that's a bit of a mouthful
) One of the adjusting knobs(stop sniggering!) has seized. I haven't attempted to free this off yet, and they aren't on the car either. But I wanted to know whether or not it was worth trying to free it off, or are they fit for the scrap bin? Many thanks!

soak it in a penetrating fluid (e.g. duck oil) over night and give it a go, there is no point in wasting them otherwise i will have them ![=]](https://www.theminiforum.co.uk/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/sideways.gif)
oh yeah... don't use WD40 as its only a lubricator not a penetrating fluid, hence W.D... Water Dispersant.

I got them from a show, so they can't get them replaced, I would be rather miffed if they were new!
It's only the one which is seized, which must have the one which I didn't fondle with at the show

use a flat blade screwdriver as they can sometimes be hard to turn by hand
