i had to get planning permission to access my drivewayHahahaha!just spoken to highways agency about having a dropped kerb for the access to the new driveway - £200 just to get them to think about it, then between £2000 and £6000 to get an approved contractor to do the work!

to be honest was always gonna be a tight fit putting it there, so I am considering selling my other car - 76 Lancia Fulvia Coupe that I've just finished restoring - so the Mini can go in the garage. Or leaving the Lancia outside as it's insured with a different company - and watch it dissolve into a pile of rust before my eyes!
Is that a good idea? Don't lancia's rust faster than minis

Don't know Mr Bridger's circumstances, but if he has an "Aunt Nellie" who'd qualify for mobility assistance;

"Carcoon"! Got one for my motorbike, but really only for long term storage, preferably undercover. I want to drive the car!
What about one of these?

I managed to insure one of my cars on the drive using one of these via Classicline, I also have a car in a Carcoon which although are very good are a pain if you want to use it on a regular basis!

Completely mis-read that URL at first. I was shocked and appalled!
