i think you just have to heat it up with a hairdryer to warm up the glue and then SLOWLY Peal it off! DO NOT try to do it without warming it up as it will definitely pull off the paint!
then try t-cutting the roof or using a decent detergent to get the glue off

I'm sure someone here will have done this before and will be able to give a more concise answer

It does depend on the quality of the adhesive, but sometimes a good soak with loads hot soapy water does the trick. That's worked for me in the past anyway.

I think MMJ's method sounds good too, can't say I've really tried that one myself though.

The problems you sometimes have are that the paint hasn't faded under the sticker (UV protected) and when you take em off you can still see where they were. Hence the need for a good T-cutting.

Use white spirit to remove the glue, as this will not damage the paint work.

Hairdryer is the best way i reckon. only use a hairdryier and not a heat gun though!!

i did it on the minifinity stickers that were on my car and they came off very quick and easy...thankfully

Heat guns are fine, thats what we use for stripping cars at work.

That is what we use for removing vinyl, it wont strip the paint if you dont hold it on one area for too long.

Can’t really do this at this time of year but
Leave the car in direct sunlight on a very warm summers day then come late afternoon it should peal off much easer
