Volkswagen Golf GT-TDI 6 speed manual.

1.9 PD Diesel engine. AJM 115 with Revo map which takes it to around 140-150bhp.
(This means cheaper insurance and tax but with the power and torque of the higher models AND with improved economy (55-60mpg easily achievable!)

MOT until April 2013

TAXED until end of September 2012

FULL SERVICE HISTORY - all handbooks and original bill of sale. It was always serviced by Volkswagen, then later in its life a Volkswagen specialists and when I bought it I have done the servicing myself using Genuine parts and Quantum (VW) oil whilst keeping the service booklet stamped.
A full folder of reciepts and history shows how well this car has been looked after. Between oil services this car uses NO OIL!!

Full black leather interior in good condition with the front seats having 5 heat settings (Very nice in the winter!)
Centre armrest, steering wheel, handbrake and door cards all covered in leather too giving a premium feel over the cloth interior cars.

VERY HIGH SPEC CAR:
Cruise control, Air Conditioning, Sunroof (rare to have both?!), AUTOMATIC wipers, AUTOMATIC dip rear view mirror (very nice), heated electric mirrors, electric windows (new regulators early 2011), remote central locking, immobiliser, ASR (traction control), ABS, drivers passengers and side airbags. Blaupunkt stereo with cd changer included (fitted when car was pretty much new) Also fitted are InPro clear rear lights.

I have recently fitted great condition 16" V6 4Motion 6spoke alloy wheels as they had better tyres than the original good condition 15" alloy wheels (which I still have and are included in the sale)

Recent Service items:
April 11 Rear brake pads and discs
September 11 Cambelt and oil change using Genuine VW parts
March 12 Oil change - using Genuine VW oil and filter
April 12 O/S rear wheel bearing replaced
May 12 New front brake pads and discs (EBC Green stuff pads with Pagid discs)

I bought the car on 108000miles in May last year and have been doing motorway mileage through M1 roadworks at 50mph - so the past 26000have been very easy miles for the engine and it drives like it's got half the mileage.

Negative points:
There are some scuffs/scratches around the roof where a roof rack was fitted and the previous owner struggled getting something off it and the rear bumper had some rubber protecters by the tailgate which when removed have left an imprint of the shape.
The rear washer jet doesn't work (it motor works but doesn't go onto the screen - could be that a hose has popped off in the tailgate?)
At present the a tyre loses pressure every couple of weeks - it looks to be the valve as when I washed it I could see some bubbles appearing from it where it joins the wheel, this doesn't worry me though as I reguraly check them anyway.

I am only selling as a friends car that I have wanted for ages is for sale now and I need some cash to buy it. If his car sells before I can buy it then I will keep hold of my Golf as it genuinely is a great car.
Please feel free to make an offer and please note that the car won't be able to be picked up until after 28th(this weekend (sunday evening is fine)). I am in Bedford so easy access from M1 and A1.

Asking £2695ono

Sorry don't want to buy your car (nice by the way) but the washer jet on the rear screen could be the little pipe that feeds it in the rear hatch has broken which is a common fault. My mate at work had the same thing with his V5 and he ended up getting a small section of brass tubing from a model shop which he then glued in place.

As i said its a common fault, have a look at the Vwaudiforum and there will be a bit about them there.

Good luck with the sale.
