I know that on my rally cars where the noise level is tested before the start and noisy cars are not allowed to start, when I've used the Maniflow twin box I've recorded about 95 DB and with the RC40 twin box under the same test conditions it is 93 DB. The difference in quality is noticeable and the Maniflow is certainly better, but with time the noise level goes up and I risk failing scrutineering, so the Maniflow doesn't last as long because it gets to noisy sooner. The RC40 does not come with skid plates for rallying, so I have to weld these on and it hangs a bit lower.
Really in overall terms there is not much to choose and both are excellent, unlike the 'Mickey Mouse' silly twin exit pipe 'noise-boosting power-sappers' as my good friend calls them.

Im abit confused about the parts i need for mounting a center exhaust, since i can't use the original mountings for the standard exhaust. So exactly what parts do i need to fit a two box center system?

I know that i might loose some power, but for everyday use, this isn't important, but i think ill go with the two outlet DTM RC40 exhaust.

I can see that Mini spares has a fitting set on there site, for RC40 but does that alsto cover the center mounted exhausts, or just the ones that uses the original mounting brackets?
