paint will also last a whole lot longer, and you can at least polish minor blemishes out of paint.....with vinyl any damage has to be re-wrapped.
even though I do wrapping and graphics....on minis I would always recommend paint for a full body colour change.

also, when you pay for a paint job, you get what you pay for. you can get some real good jobs done!

but to be honest, the amount you spend on a wrap, you could get it painted, id only recommend a wrap if you wanted a temporary colour change or a matte colour

Not following this one, sorry...personally, i dont like the idea of a respray, i can just see water getting under it and making major rust probems,

I'd get it painted. Vinyl wraps are ok on new cars as they are dent & rust free but on older cars it will probably look terrible without spending a decent chunk of money getting the car prepped before hand. If you;ve done that you may aswell just pay to get it painted the colour you want it.
Wraps will only last a few years too, and can't be polished. And they aren;t as shiney as paint either, I had a gloss black roof wrapped professionally on a BMW I had and although it looked good it didn't have the shine paint would've had.

Cheers for the replys the only reason I ask is I got a quote for £700 how much will I be looking at a full respray ?
Might be £700 to wrap it, but you need something that's pretty much perfect to wrap in the first place.

Sorry but im going to ask a silly question.....
When getting it wrapped does it need to be sanded down or anything? Or does it just go strait over the top?
