Aup guys im new to this forum, hi. im 16 at the mo turning 17 in august (late birthday ) Just purchased my first car and obvs its a mini or i wouldnt be on here . Not got it yet going to collect it a week on Sundaaaayy Well here it is, got it for 720 quid! still registerd as a 998 but got a 1275 engine init, with an uprated carb, twin core radiator, reconditioned alternator and quick shift . its a bit rough in places but hey ho its my first set of wheels, guna be init.

Heres the interior, 2 cobra bucket seats ( probally wont keep and ill sell and fit some half leather originals )

Defo need to do sommate to the dash, eurgh , probally wrap it with some carbon vinyl?

Engine bay. not to tidy so needs a clean and is missing a few things such as a dizzy and pipes, shouldnt cost to much to get running Only done 65,000 miles too.

Annnnd heres the rear. new light cover needed and to remove that nasty dent above , nice straight through cherry bomb exhaust to be fitted to, tip needs a good cleaning though

looks like a nice project, best look out for a 998 to put back in if you want to insure it though, prices at the moment for us young people are a bit mental...

Always good to keep a nice clean tip lol. Welcome to the forum buddy. Mini looks quite nice, personally dont like big ICE in a mini but each to there own. Great first car choice! Plenty of people will tell you to declare it as a 1275 and not to keep it registered as a 998 but personally again its up to you.... Happy mini-ing!

cheers guys yeah ive checked some quotes on a 998 and a 1275 and the 1275 is only a few quid more than the smaller engined the quote for the 1275 was about 2300 but thats without a black box so hopefully will be ok, ment to be one of the cheapest cars to insure right? And about the ice, i agree tbf look abit if you ask me haha, the subs will be coming out like i said and some original seats :) what would you reccomend me do? tell them or . P.s. man i love theese smileys!

very nice, i was watching this on ebay just to see how much it went for but it looks a good wee car and i love the colour i had been considering it for mine for a while

this is true, im talking from experience here............................if you don't your welds will come out terrible and the wire will jam.

hi enjoy the forum! you are *******! lol i was getting for a 1.3 standard mini from 1.5K to 2.5k quotes and i have year under my belt. this car is gonna bankrupt you, completely modified, speakers, engine, BUCKET SEATS! and the rest
