Can you fit one of the rokee (or rooke, dunno?) dashboards into a mini with no top or bottomdash rails? I know theyre for cars with no top rail but i didnt know if it would look right without either.. If someone has a photo of an interior with the same/similar dashboard without any dashrails then please post it here.. many thanks.

Dan

The cars they were originally designed for had the bottom rail just wrapped in vinyl. The padded crash rail came later. And it's Rokee, you were right there.

Ah okay, thanks for your help. My problem now is that ive removed the padded dashrail and i now have no where to mount my switches because the switch panel is designed for the padded dash rail. Are there any switch panels which are designed for minis without a padded dashrail?

I'm interested in removing the padded lower dash too, but wondered if it was possible, what with the choke etc... whats even behind the padding? A metal panel similar to the top of the dash?
