An exciting update :-D

It's painted :-D was painted last Friday. I've started putting it together having a few electrical issues mainly connection problems due to rust but getting there :-D

Fingers crossed it will be back on the road by the end of next week :-D very excited

Hoping he will be ready for Himley Hall

I can still only imagine what it must feel like to be at this stage...

Looks cracking though some good depth to the paint.

Late last night I Got the engine fired up :-D brakes and clutch are now bled. Exhaust is back on just the last few bits to finish off today then over to me machanic to set the ride hight and tracking and then it's MOT time fingers crossed will be at Himley hall next weekend :)

Been a long time since I have updated my apologies for that been having to much fun having the van back here is how he looks now







He also has some lovely chrome hub caps on as well.

Unfortunately he will be going for some more repairs early December as a crack has formed on the drivers side which is from a bad inner sill repair by the bodging previous owner. He will also be getting some rear subframe mount strengthening as I would like to tow a teardrop caravan one day.

Well his back in having done what I should have done first best laid plans and all that.

His in this time to have the inner sills replaced as the terrible welding by the previous owner fell apart after the rebuild, and of course when the sills were cut out the horrors appeared in the form of the drivers floor consisting of 3 floors on top of each other :/

I'm now wondering how best to preserve the van from now on I've started a new topic if anyone has any ideas
