looking good mate, the heated seat pads are a great idea :proud: i went to the Coventry transport museum the other week and saw this mini, took loads of pics and spent ages getting in every one else's way  did you notice that they had gas welded new A panels onto the car and the rear steering is a chopped up front subframe >_<

Keep up the great work

Rhys

Looks like it's going to be super smooth Adam.

I hit a stumbling block with mine over the weekend in that the rear subby wont refit as the heel boards I had repaired have spaced the mounts out... :( set me back abit but must soldier on.

I'm going for black with a white roof not very classical but hence the retro mini van

Oh no that's rubbish :( I was very lucky with mine had no shearing bolts went in and out very smoothly after a trip to potters bar for new radius arms from mini spares as it was stuck on my machanics ramp and had mist next day delivery.

Went to see the van yesterday and it looks like it has gone back by about 2 weeks but the guys have got hold of some etch primer which BMW use so should work this time

Fingers crossed this time next week it may be in paint and then it's put back together and MOT time

Gutted for you bud, something you have to put up with on Minis; their stubbornness to be restored.
Your still way ahead of me if that makes you feel any better ;)
