Just need to rub down the primer and get some top coat on then I can get the cards fitted..
I have been busy in the cave every night for the past week or so..The pasenger floor is just about complete..and a new crossmember is on its way.
And the weight saving is getting serious now...ive wheeked out the dash rail and all the support metal..will be welding in a cross brace to the cage and then welding the cage to the A pillars so plenty of stiffness going back in.
Lots still to do but im getting there slowly..

Those ram pipes are too long for bestest power, you ideally want ones that are around 1.75 inches long, but I can't seem to find anywhere that sells them any more . it's coming along, repairs look very tidy!
Yeah, I looked for ages but couldnt find ant of the shorter upswept ones. The old ones are ok but a bit pitted on the inside, I will swop them over if the power drop is significant.. They will be covered in ITG socks anyway so the shiny is a bit pointless I suppose.. Thanks, I think I have finally got the hang of this welding lark..Only took me 9 years and two mini's...lol..

I have been busy collecting bits over thre past month or so and generally cleaning stuff..
Here is a picture of one of the 4 metro hubs I managed to get hold of..
And after a LOT of work stripping and cleaning they now look like this..
Im waiting for some CV joints, flange bolts and new ball joints before getting this lot all stuck together.
