I've not seen the Speedy Play Book before, I've got the other two. Looks like I'll have to do some searching.

I was at a toy fair today and picked up another couple for my collection.

First up is a play worn Corgi Competition Mini in Yellow. It's pretty close to Fiesta Yellow.

Then there's this Code 3 based on a Vanguards Mini. It's 1 of only 100.

And last week I picked up these little Cooper Norton racing cars, the cars that the Cooper Car company started making in the '50s. They were made by Tekno of Denmark in the 1960s and came in various International Race Team colours. These two are both in French Racing Blue. Other colours include German White, British Green and Belgium Yellow.

You going to keep all of them MaxandPaddy? Or sell the spares to pay for the one?

Ok so it's not exactly a model or a remote control mini...but I made my boyfriend a mini cake in the style of his nordic blue mini, couldn't quite get the colour right but I don't think it's too bad!  :proud:

Thanks :) It took the whole of sunday to construct and was eventually made of like 3 cakes and almost 1kg of fondant of various colours, worth it though!

Had a small idea (duno if anyones done it before) so bought this off ebay last week:

scalextricmini_zps093a44ff.jpg

It arrived all scratched and warn so decided to have a go at spraying it like my mini (already have a tamiya Rc mini done like my park lane) Just finished spraying it but because our masking tape is rubbish & doesn't stick & the roof was too scratched (even after sanding) I ended up with this not overly happy with it to be honest but the thought was there

I've been busy this month!

DSCF0749.jpg

The first five were picked up at an auction in a large lot.

These two were found going cheap in my local Modelzone which is closing down

Another couple of auction finds

And this lot were purchased for £12 of an autojumble stall at a local classic car show

This should have wicker sides. It's a slightly rarer issue with the cast spoked wheels.
